Penza, 24 November 2011. PenzaNews. Governor Vasily Bochkarev offered to open a brand shop with the goods of agricultural manufacturers from the Penza region in Moscow.

During the dialogue with the representatives of mass media on Wednesday, November, 23rd Vasily Bochkarev said: “In particular, today during the visit to the Pachelmsky area I offered the head of administration to go to the capital and to find a premise to rent it and buy then. We can create a trading site for local agricultural manufactures”.

According to the head of the region in spite the fact that the number of small and mid-size business in the Penza region is comparatively small, but rural people become more and more active.

The governor said: “We can see it at the exhibitions in municipal areas and during weekend fairs in the regional center. For example, we see huge assortment of the sausage products presented by the enterprises of rural settlements”.

Vasily Bochkarev reminded journalists about the Soviet stereotype that industrialists and workers dominate over peasants.

The governor said: “But today there is a person of new formation who is better than a labor, he is a businessman. There are such people in the villages who can not only manufacture the primary products but can be engaged in goods processing directly on their small native land”.

Thus he underlined that residents of the villages can successfully be engaged not only in agricultural manufacture, but also in other activities, such as the tailoring shop in Pachelmsky area.

“Businessmen participate in exhibitions, constantly work over personnel improvement of professional skill, being engaged in training of employees and also effectively use potential of local technical training college”. Vasily Bochkarev promised to help young designers of Pachelma with training in Italy.

Coming back to food-processing industry theme, the governor declared that taking into account the deficiency of land in Europe, the Penza region and Russia as a whole is quite capable to win the European market of natural foodstuff.

Vasily Bochkarev said: “We start to refuse the artificial goods in beautiful packing. More and more people prefer natural food, and Penza manufactures can be suppliers of pork, fish, and poultry and various smoked products”.

The governor underlined that brand shop of Penza foodstuff can be opened not only in Moscow but also in Nizhny Novgorod, Samara and other big cities of the Volga region.
