Penza, 24 November 2011. PenzaNews. Governor Vasily Bochkarev took part in the solemn ceremony of the opening of the reconstructed workshop on slaughter and processing of poultry of “Integrated poultry factory “Vasilevskaya” LLC on Thursday, on November, 24th. The new workshop is situated in Bessonovsky area of the Penza region and its capacity is 8 thousand heads per hour.

Capacity of the shop consists of two lines. The first one, which has already existed, has productivity of 6 thousand heads per hour. New one which has just been put into operation has capacity of 8 thousand heads per hour and 800 new workplaces. More than 1.5 billion rubles were spent for new workshop.

During the opening ceremony Vasily Bochkarev thanked the president of Cherkizovo Group Igor Babayev and said: “I consider that 13 years ago the group of companies “Cherkizovo” into which the integrated poultry factory is included, had accepted the right decision to begin business on the territory of the Penza region. So, now not only land is tilled, but also new poultry and feed-processing plants are erected”.

The head of the company, in his turn, thanked Vasily Bochkarev and the regional government for state support in interaction of the regional power and business.

Igor Babayev said: “The group of companies began agrarian business in the Penza region and without support of the governor we would have nothing there, the Penza region is practically my native home”.

Governor Vasily Bochkarev presented diplomas to the builders of the work shop and the best employees of the integrated poultry farm.

Besides, the employees of the enterprise got diplomas of Legislative Assembly and the main federal inspector in the Penza region.

The governor said during the briefing: “Thanks to integrated poultry farm “Vasilevskaya” the Penza region is on the second place in the Volga district among poultry manufacturers. In 2012 there will be 120 thousand tons of poultry in the region. It is 6 times better than the highest indicator of work of integrated poultry farms in Soviet period”.

Igor Babayev informed that the company intends to be engaged in erection of minifactories and family dairy farms in the Penza region to produce high-quality cheese and compete with the European manufacturers.
