200 mini farms breeding rabbits will be organized in the Penza region

Penza, 6 December 2011. PenzaNews. Breeding, processing and trading of meat of rabbits has begun work on the basis of cattle-breeding agricultural cooperative society “Marevsky” in Maloserdobinsky area of the Penza region.

According to the press-service of the regional Ministry of Agriculture, about ten breeds will be bred according to Mihalovskaya technologies with seed stock on two platforms of cooperative society in 200 mini farms.

The press-service of the department said: “was provided Granting of grants from the budget of the Penza region on realization of business projects on the organization of manufacturing, processing and realization of meat of rabbits were allocated for branch development according to the long-term target program “Development of agriculture of the Penza region for 2009-2013” in 2010. Grants were given to agricultural manufactures at a rate of 50 % of expenses of the business project, but no more than 7 million roubles. The given kind of the state support was used by “Marevsky” enterprise.

As it was reported earlier, the idea of technology of Igor Mihajlov is that rabbits are grown up in special units — mini farms demanding only half an hour service a week.

There are all conditions for comfortable life, so overgrown rabbits grow 3 times faster, get especial qualities of meat and fur.

Besides, forages are considerably saved and profitableness of rabbits breeding increases many times.
