The governor of the Penza region took part in start of a new line of wall-paper manufacturing at LLC “Mayakprint”

Penza, 15 December 2011. PenzaNews. The governor of the Penza region Vasily Bochkarev took part in the solemn start-up of a new technological line of wall-paper manufacturing at LLC “Mayakprint” which took place in Penza on Thursday, December, 15th. According to the general director of the enterprise Vasily Vdonin, new equipment was installed as a part of investment project “Development of wallpaper manufacturing of LLC “Mayakprint” in partnership with German company “Herbert Olbrich GmbH and Co. KG”.

Vasily Vdonin said: “Preparation for start began in 2010. 4.5 thousand sq. meters building was reconstructed. This line is unique because it manufactures different kinds of wall-paper. Our employees and German specialists mount it for half a year although it usually takes more than 2 years. It shows high qualification of our employees”.
Governor Vasily Bochkarev said that cooperation with Germany allowed not only to modernize Penza enterprise, but also to retrain and raise professionalism of local specialists.
The head of the region said: “There no enterprises in Russia which manufacture such wall-paper. Not only new equipment is installed, the employees also change. Retraining of the specialists is too expensive. Partnership with Germans changed the company as a whole and today “Mayakprint” can be called the European enterprise”.
He underlined that thanks to modernization, Penza wall-paper will be sold not only in Russia, but also in many CIS countries.
Vasily Vdonin said: “Now four lines produce about 5 million pieces per year, this one machine will produce out 5.5 million pieces of wall-paper a year. Calculations show that the output volume of the enterprise will grow almost in 1.6 times in 2012 and should be more than 800 million roubles”.
Vasily Bochkarev said: “Besides, new enterprise is erected now on the territory of LLC “Mayak”. It will produce high quality paper in volumes higher than all machines of the enterprise produ0ce now. Paper manufacturing in the Penza region will grow in twice in 2–3 years”.
