Penza, 30 December 2011. PenzaNews. The Penza region took the seventh place among the subjects of Russia according to the rates of industrial production increase of for January-November, 2011 in relation to the similar period of last year. About it it is told in the monthly report on a situation in economy, financially-bank and social spheres of subjects of the federation, published by the ministry of regional development of the Russian Federation on Thursday, on December, 29th.

According to the presented data, the industrial production index in the Penza region has made 117.3% for 11 months 2011. The Kaluga region (129.5 %), the Kamchatka edge (121.7 %), Republic Ingushetia (121.2 %) became the leaders of the rating and took first three places accordingly.

According to the report of the Ministry of regional development of Russia, the Penza region isn’t one of ten subjects which are the leading ones on rates of increase of credits given out to legal bodies, profits of the profitable enterprises, and also current consumption.

At the same time, the region took the second place of rating of subjects of the federation which have become the leaders of the growth of agricultural products manufacturing. The corresponding index for 11 months 2011 is 154.6 % in comparison to the similar period of the previous year. The leader of the segment is the Amur region (171.3 %).

The summary index of economic and social situation of the regions shows that the Penza region is so-called “worse than average-Russian”. More than 50 regions were awarded such nomination. Position “is much better than average-Russian” have only 8 subjects of Russia, such as the the Tyumen region, Yamal-Nenets, Chukotka, Khanty-Mansi autonomous okrugs, Republic Sakha (Yakutia), the Leningrad, the Amur region and St.-Petersburg.

According to a summary index of “Investment appeal” the Penza region has also nomination “worse than average-Russian” following the published data. Krasnodar territory, the Tyumen region and Yamal-Nenets autonomous okrug are in the lead in this category.

By October, 2011 real incomes of residents of the Penza region haven't changed essentially in comparison with similar indicators of the previous year. Rate of its growth is in an interval of 0-5 %, it is marked in the report of the Ministry of regional development.
