Penza, 9 February 2012. PenzaNews. Foreign trade turnover of the Penza region was $271.7 million in 2011. The export volume was about $132.4 million, import was about $139.3 million.

According to the press-service of Government of the Penza region, trade turnover with far abroad countries was $189.4 million, with CIS countries — $82.3 million.

Foreign trade surplus of the Penza region was negative, having exceeded $6.9 million. Export-import coverage ratio was 0.95. 253 enterprises had foreign trade relations in 2011.

“72 countries of the world were trading partners of the Penza region in 2011. Export went to 53 countries, import purchases were carried out in 50 countries of the world,” said the press-service.
