Penza, 21 February 2012. PenzaNews. Commissioning of a new hi-tech line for welding of cards and ferrules for steam coppers, tanks and other sheet metal designs took place in LtD Factory “GrAz” in village Grabovo of Bessonovsky area of the Penza region on Tuesday, February 21.

The governor of the Penza region Vasily Bochkarev who together with the chairman of board of directors of LtD Factory “GrAz” Igor Tkachenko started new line, having pressed the symbolical red button.

“I’d like to thank administration thinking of modernization and perfection of manufacture, assemblers who installed the equipment and the foreign partners who manufactured these modern machines. Now the enterprise can manufacture better production,” said the head of the region.

Vasily Bochkarev handed over gratitude of the governor of the Penza region to two employees of the factory to chief specialist on innovative development of the enterprise Victor Kaplin and chief engineer Alexander Karpushkin.

“The new line consists of American gantry of plasma sheet metal cutting, German welding beam and Italian sheet bending machines. There will be three-shifts,” Alexander Karpushkin informed, having added that the new line cost 65 million rubles will allow to increase productivity by 30–40%.

As he said, the factory also plans to start laser-beam cell and sheet bending press in 2012.
