Penza, 22 February 2012. PenzaNews. Opening ceremony of second farm on breeding rabbits took place in village Novoe Demkino of Maloserdobinsky area of the Penza region on Tuesday, February, 21.

According to the regional newspaper “Trud”, there are 230 rabbits on new farm of LLC “LadsPlus” and 962 head on both farms. 15 employees work at the enterprise.

According to the head of LLC “LadaPlus” Valery Bykov, on development of rabbit breeding the enterprise received 7 million rubles to buy machines, building materials and rabbits of productive breeds, such as chinchillas, rams, Californians and giants.

The vice-chairman of the government of the Penza region present at opening ceremony, Minister of Agriculture Marat Faizov admitted that now the heads of enterprises should think about processing and creation of breed livestock farm.
