Penza, 27 June 2012. PenzaNews. The opening ceremony of the new business incubator in Sukhumskaya St. in Ternovka community of Penza was held on Wednesday, June 27. The governor of the Penza Region Vasily Bochkarev, the speaker of the regional parliament, Alexander Gulyakov, the Chairman of the regional government Yury Krivov, the Head of the city of Penza Ivan Belozertsev, as well as other officials attended the event.

“In this institution representatives of small business obtain conditions which will enable them to bring their ideas into real life,” pointed out Vasily Bochkarev.

The Governor reminded that the Penza region rose in the rating of innovative activity 2011 from 14th to 10th place.
“With the new projects implemented in the region, in 2012 we have to show an even better result,” stated the Governor.

Nevertheless, Vasily Bochkarev stressed that the development of science and business is not based on the new buildings, but the scientists with a desire to create.

After the opening ceremony, the authorities visited the exhibition of innovative projects unfolded in the lobby, and then took part in the Research and Practice Conference “Inventive activity of the Penza region: Achievements, Challenges and Prospects.”
