Penza, 5 July 2012. PenzaNews. Penza breeders have the opportunity to increase the average annual milk yield per cow. This opinion was expressed by the Minister of Agriculture of the region Ivan Firyulin during a meeting with representatives of the districts of the region on Thursday, July 5. “Currently, the average annual milk yield per cow in the Penza region is about three thousand kilograms while in some other neighboring regions it is five thousand kilograms,” he stated.

According to Ivan Firyulin, the main reason for the lack of milk yield increase is the human factor.
“The Penza region does not have enough competent engineers and people who can argue that agriculture and cattle breeding, in particular, can be profitable for smart people,” he emphasized.
