Penza, 25 July 2012. PenzaNews. The first phase of a new cement plant LLC Asia-Cement, located in Nikolsky area, the Penza region, will become operational in July 2013. This was announced by the chief of the regional Department of industry, transport and power Yury Bykov during an inspection visit to the company.

He noted that all construction works should be completed by the following autumn, and then the installation of utilities would begin, most of which would be done by Penza contractors.

“The planned volume of production of LLC Asia-Cement is 1 million 800 thousand tons per year. Start of the production will create over 600 jobs,” Yury Bykov emphasized.

As the press service of the regional government told news agency “Penza News,” construction of residential neighbourhood (123 apartments) is in progress.

“The new residential area will have all necessary social infrastructure: construction of a kindergarten, shops, social facilities and public services is planned there. The first house will have been finished by the end of this year,” the press office added.
