Penza, 11 September 2012. PenzaNews. About 73 thousand turkeys were delivered to one of the enterprises of the Penza region from Poland.

Import of poultry was monitored by the specialists of the department of border veterinary control at the state border of the Russian Federation and transport of Russian agricultural supervision in the Penza region.

“The first visual inspection proved turkeys to be clinically healthy,” the press service of the department reported.

Poultry was put in quarantine for further veterinary measures to assure the absence of contagious animal and bird diseases.
