Dmitry Medvedev: Strategy for medical industry development to be worked out by February 1

Penza, 12 September 2012. PenzaNews. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev instructed Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov to intensify the development of strategy for the medical industry in the country. The Prime Minister stated this at the working meeting in Penza on Wednesday, September 12.

Dmitry Medvedev noted that it was previously planned to work out such a document by May 2013, but, in his view, this can be done sooner – by February 1.

Summing up the results of the medical industry development, Denis Manturov pointed out that currently the main task of the Ministry of Industry and Trade is creating a project for stimulation of development and manufacture of innovative medical devices and equipment in Russia.
