Penza, 20 September 2012. PenzaNews. 4,6 thousand jobs were created at small enterprises, cooperatives, entrepreneurs and farms of the Penza region since the beginning of 2012. This was announced by the Head of the regional department of Federal State Statistics Service Sergey Shemenev at a meeting on business in Nizhny Lomov on Wednesday, September 19.

According to Penza Statistics Service, the current number of small and medium enterprises in the Penza region is 59 thousand, the number of micro enterprises is 17,7 thousand, individual entrepreneurs and farm managers — 41,1 thousand, and medium-sized enterprises — 195 units.

According to the press service of the regional government, there are 33 business incubators of municipal and regional importance with the area of over 26 thousand sq. meters.
