Penza, 5 October 2012. PenzaNews. The governor of the Penza region Vasily Bochkarev visited JSC Nizhnelomovsky Electromechanical Plant on Friday, October 5. During the visit, the head of the region spoke with workers and answered their questions about the future development of the company, which manufactures products on state defense request, as well as furniture fittings, hinges for refrigerators and car spares.

According to the Deputy Director of JSC Nizhnelomovsky Electromechanical Plant Yuri Kirilin, the main manufacturing process is directly related to the presence or absence of the state defense request.

“We had a good contract in the second and third quarters of 2012. We finished it, and for some time after that we had to transfer our people to underemployment and a three-day working schedule. Now we hope to get a new contract as soon as possible. The company employs more than 800 people, and we not only kept all our staff, but also signed contracts with new young employees,” Yuri Kirilin noted.

Vasily Bochkarev examined the manufacturing process and expressed hoped for a fast re-equipment of the plant, the investment of which exceeded 8,5 million rubles in the first half of 2012.
