Penza region budget deficit 2013 can exceed 2,2 billion rubles

Penza, 30 October 2012. PenzaNews. The budget deficit of the Penza region in 2013 will amount to 2,208 million rubles. Such data are stated in the draft law “On the budget of the Penza region in 2013 and the planning period 2014–2015” says the website of the regional parliament.

“It is planned that the regional revenues will amount to 35,814,600 thousand rubles, while expenses reach 38,022,600 thousand rubles. It is expected that 20,762,200 thousand rubles will come to the budget in the form of tax and non-tax revenues,” informed the head of the press service of the Legislative Assembly of the Penza region Marina Timokhina.

According to her, the regional budget 2013 will retain social orientation.

“Socio-cultural sphere is to receive 24,123,700 thousand rubles, which is 63,4% of total expenditures budgeted in the Penza region. Education expenditures will amount to 6,550,600 thousand rubles, social policy — 7,653,900 thousand rubles, health care — 6,883,900 thousand rubles, physical training and sports — 656,300 thousand rubles, culture — 2,274,700 thousand rubles, and the media — 104,300 thousand rubles,” explained the agency interlocutor.

She noted that the agriculture, fishery, water and forestry, transport and road sectors’ expenditure will reach 18,8% of the total amount.

“According to the plan, the share of intergovernmental transfers to the budgets of municipalities will make 9,6%. The realization of long-term programs of the Penza region will cost 10,546,400 thousand rubles, which is 27,7% of the total cost,” Marina Timokhina added.

The head of the press service of the regional parliament recalled that at present absentee discussions of the regional budget are on.

“The face-to-face discussion will be held on Thursday, 8 November,” concluded the agency interlocutor.
