This was announced by the Minister of investment development and business in the region Vladimir Volkov during a press conference on Thursday, November 1.

“In 9 months of 2011 this index was 37,8 billion rubles. Thus, the growth of investment in fixed capital in the region is 36,5%,” he stated.

Vladimir Volkov underlined that a large amount of investment in the Penza region came in the fall of 2012.

“At the end of summer this index was 37,1 billion rubles, and in early October, exceeded 51 billion rubles,” he said.

According to Vladimir Volkov, if the region is receiving a large amount of investment, it means that it has a favorable social atmosphere and enough of human resources.

“According to the dynamics of investment growth, the Penza region takes the leading place in the Volga Federal Districts at the moment,” he concluded.
