Penza, 23 November 2012. PenzaNews. Delegation of Turkish businessmen visited the Penza region.

According to the press service of the regional government, the businessmen had a chance to get acquainted with investment potential of the Penza region for the first time in June 2012, during the presentation in Turkey.

“During the return visit of the guests, led by the head of the Russian office of the Confederation of Businessmen and Industrialists of Turkey Ali Tarnava, expressed interest in cooperation in the fields of agriculture, food processing and furniture production,” specified the regional government.

According to the minister of investment and business development in the region Vladimir Volkov, Turkey is one of priority partners.

“Today, the dynamics of growth of foreign direct investment from Turkey to Russia is the highest. The governments of the countries have established good relations,” he pointed and gave examples of successful joint business projects on meat processing and production of bakery products marketed in the Penza region.
