Penza, 29 December 2012. PenzaNews. Penza scientific-production association MedInzh took the 57th place in the rating of the most innovative companies in the country “TekhUspekh” (Technical Succes) drawn up by the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia (AIRR).

“The first place took ER-Telecom Holding from the city of Perm. IT-company Corporation ELAR from Moscow and Novosibirsk group of companies Center of Financial Technologies made the top three,” the press service of AIRR told news agency “PenzaNews.”

According to the organizers of the rating, they tried not to evaluate the performance of enterprises, but make Russian brands more recognizable.

“Citizens, governments and large corporations need to demonstrate high-tech small and medium-sized domestic companies which are part of the elite of Russian innovative businesses. We are convinced that it will help the companies to attract investment and expand markets,” said the Association of Innovative Regions of Russia.

The scientific-production association MedInzh was created in Penza in 1994.

The main activities of the company are research, development, implementation and promotion of its innovative medical devices and implants for people.

In 1995, MedInzh heart valve prosthesis was awarded the Grand Prix at the World Exhibition of Inventions in Brussels, and in 1996 it was awarded a silver medal at the exhibition in Geneva.

About 70% of all mechanical artificial heart valves implanted in Russia are produced by MedInzh.

The company is a multiple winner of various competitions.
