Penza, 21 January 2013. PenzaNews. Approximately 80,7 million passengers were transported by motor transport enterprises of the Penza region in 2012.

“This index is 9% lower than in 2011,” the Penza Statistics Service told news agency “PenzaNews.”

In addition, the service stated that in the Penza region in 2012, production of livestock and poultry (live weight) increased by 18,2%, of milk — by 0,3%, of eggs — by 8% compared to 2011.

“In general, according to yearly results in the region, the index of industrial production for the full range of organizations amounted to 111,1%,” the press service clarified.
