This was announced by the chairman of the board of directors of OJSC “Cherkizovo-Group” Igor Babaev during a visit to the region on Tuesday, January 29. “Construction of the facility has been on for two years, and it is partially operating. According to the plan, the elevator as a whole will be commissioned in a few months,” he clarified.

Igor Babaev said that the cost of the construction totals approximately 500 million rubles.

“Construction of a modern grain elevator is conditioned by a need to store self-produced fodder for poultry and pigs,” the founder of “Cherkizovo Group” commented.

Igor Babaev also noted that the company owns 100 thousand hectares of Penza land used for growing fodder.
