Alexander Kalashnikov: Low-rise housing is in high demand among Penza residents

Penza, 7 February 2013. PenzaNews. Economy class low-rise housing, located in the outskirts of Penza, is in high demand among the residents of the region. This was announced by the deputy chairman of the government of the Penza region Alexander Kalashnikov at the round table on construction and energy on Thursday, February 7.
“For example, housing estate “Sursky district” is being constructed in village Zasechny with a total area of housing about 38 thousand square meters. Over a half of the apartments are purchased with mortgage loans, the majority of customers are families with children,” Alexander Kalashnikov pointed out.
According to the official, construction of another low-rise housing estate is planned in 2013, which will be located in village Ramzay.
“In total, 741,14 square meters of housing, over 50% of which are low-rise buildings, were constructed in the Penza region in 2012. We intend to increase the volume of housing construction in 2013,” the press service of the regional government quoted Alexander Kalashnikov.
