Representative of Ministry of Agriculture of Russia praised trout mini-farm in Penza region

Penza, 22 February 2013. PenzaNews. The director of the regulation department of agri-food market, fishery, and food processing industry of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia Mikhail Orlov appreciated the work of the cooperative society “Trout” located in village Kuvaka, Kamensky area, the Penza region.

On Thursday, February 21, during his visit to the region, the representative of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia inspected the trout farm, where they breed fish in a 225-meter channel filled with pure spring water.
The president of the cooperative society Gilfan Adzhigitov told Mikhail Orlov that in 2012, they prepared feeding ponds for trout and other kinds of fish with total area of over 30 hectares.
“When the mini-farm reaches its estimated capacity, the volume of output will be up to 60 tons,” he said.
The director of the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia also visited the shop for bottling natural mineral table water “Kuvaka” and the cultural and historical center “Museum of live water.”
