Diesel engineering personnel to be trained in multifield college in Penza

Penza, 6 March 2013. PenzaNews. Personnel training for diesel building company “Wartsila” will be organized in Penza multifield college.
It is expected that when the joint Russian-Finnish plant for multipurpose diesel engine production, which is being built in the region, is put in operation, it will require first of all the workers with basic vocational education and mid-level managers.
To prepare qualified workers, they will use Finnish educational methods adapted to local conditions, commented the press service of the government of the Penza region.
Corporation “Wartsila” and LLC “Transmashholding” are constructing a multipurpose medium-speed diesel engine for trains, ships and stationary use.
Investment volume of the project is about 50 million euro.
Reaching full capacity of 300 engines per year is scheduled for 2017.
The products will be supplied to Russia and the CIS, and in the future — to Europe.
