Penza, 12 March 2013. PenzaNews. Price for vegetables rose by 13,4% in the Penza region over the past month.

According to Maristat data, in February 2013, the cost of vegetables increased in all regions of the Volga Federal District, except Chuvashia, while in the Nizhny Novgorod region prices grew by 122%.

Penza agricultural manufacturers raised the price for grain-crops over the past month by 2,1%, for potatoes — by 1,3%.

Price for milk, eggs and meat did not change in the region.
