Penza, 15 March 2013. PenzaNews. According to the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Demography of the region, over 12,5 thousand vacancies are available at the enterprises of the Penza region. The most popular profession turns out to be the one of a driver (538 vacancies).

The employers are also actively looking for part-time workers (512), mechanics (430), bricklayers (385), agricultural workers (368), plasterers (291), workers (288), sewers (265), fitters (239), and supervisors (232).

The number of job offers with bonus housing provided to the employee, amounts to 605 in the region, and 290 — in Penza.

845 jobs were created for disabled people in the Penza region, 417 of which in the enterprises of Penza.

As the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Demography of the Penza region told news agency “PenzaNews,” as of 1 March 2013, labor market pressure, which characterizes the demand and supply of labor, was 0,62 person per vacancy.

“In January and February, the employment services received 11 thousand requests from people, including 4,6 thousand — in search of work. 2,8 thousand residents of the region found a job. Thus, the level of employment was 60%,” the agency explained, adding that IT services received 8,5 thousand applicants and 1,1 thousand employers.
