Penza, 22 March 2013. PenzaNews. According to the Federal State Statistics Service data brought out on Thursday, March 21, the average monthly salary of civil (municipal) employees of the departments of executive power in the Penza region amounted to 34,430 rubles in 2012, which is 11,2% more compared to 2011.

According to the study, the average salary of civil (municipal) employees in the local government performing executive and administrative functions made 22,724 rubles (+10%), and in the regional offices of the federal bodies of executive power — 22,344 rubles (+7, 2%).

However, the Federal State Statistics Service noted that average salaries in the economy on the whole amounted to 18,899 rubles in the Penza region in 2012, which is 17% more than the year before.

The study also showed the number of civil and municipal employees in 2012. Thus, as of the end of the year, the executive branch of the Penza region was 96,1% staffed with 1,270 people working there, staff of the local government with executive and administrative functions amounted to 3,588 people (98.2%), and the territorial bodies of federal executive branch had 3,706 people (88.1%).
