Penza, 27 March 2013. PenzaNews. The Penza region quota for foreign workers will amount to 9,942 people in 2013. This was reported by the Minister of Labor, Social Protection and Demography of the region Elena Stolyarova at a staff meeting on the implementation of priority national projects and demographic policy.

“Quota is one of the effective mechanisms that affect the procedure of legal use of foreign labor,” she noted.

According to Elena Stolyarova, in 2013, the quota was increased by over 600 people.

“As of the last year data, 68% of foreign workers came from neighboring countries. Most of them were involved in construction — 59,2%, processing industry — 15,9%, agriculture — 13,4%, and trade — 7,2%,” the press service of the government of the Penza region quoted the minister.
