Penza, 19 April 2013. PenzaNews. Industrial production index grew by 2,9% in the first quarter of 2013 compared to the same period last year in the Penza region. This was announced by Acting Minister of Economy of the region Alexander Belozertsev at a meeting of the coordination council of the governor of the Penza region on Friday, April 19.

“According to preliminary data, over 9,661 million rubles of investments were sent for economic and social development of the region in the first quarter of the year used, which is 7,5% more than in 2012,” he added.

According to Alexander Belozertsev, the retail trade of consumer goods grew by 7%.

“The consumer price index for goods and services amounted to 101,9% since the beginning of the year. Official unemployment is 0,98%,” the press service quotes Acting Minister of Economy of the region.
