Penza, 19 April 2013. PenzaNews. Federal State Statistics Service published data on grain stock in the regions of the Russian Federation, including the Penza region.

As of April 1, 2013, the region has 227,9 thousand tons of grain, which is 52,6% of the last year stock.

Agricultural organizations retain 82,5 thousand tons, and 145,4 thousand tons are hold by procurement and processing companies.

According to the Service, as of the beginning of April, agricultural, procurement and processing organizations of the Russian Federation held 18 million tons of grain, which is 7,8 million tons, or 30,2%, less than a year ago.
