Commissioning of Penza technopark postponed

Penza, 27 June 2013. PenzaNews. The first stage of the technopark which is under construction in Tsentralnaya St in Penza will be put in operation in the third quarter of 2013. This was announced by the first deputy head of the innovation policy and special projects of the regional government Evgeny Gayduchenko.

“Technopark is designed for implementation during 2011–2014. The result will be the research and production facilities with a total area of 46 thousand square meters, which will house over 70 small innovative enterprises and create over 1,5 million jobs,” Evgeny Gayduchenko said at a meeting of the regional government on Thursday, June 27.

He added that with the commissioning of the first stage of the technopark, the second stage would continue being constructed.

“From 2014, we are beginning the construction of the third stage,” the press service of the government of the Penza region quoted Evgeny Gayduchenko.

As news agency PenzaNews reported earlier, in April 2013, governor Vasily Bochkarev when visiting the facility with inspection said that the first stage of the technopark must be put in operation in June 2013.
