Vyacheslav Orel names promising directions of Penza agriculture development

Penza, 14 August 2013. PenzaNews. Dairy farming and poultry production are the most promising directions in the development of agriculture of the Penza region. This was announced by the deputy chairman of the regional government Vyacheslav Orel during a meeting with journalists on Wednesday, August 14.
“These spheres create jobs and tax base,” he said.
According to the deputy chairman of the regional government, in 2012–2013 the Penza region received 1.7 billion rubles from the state and about 860 million rubles from the regional budget to support its agricultural sector.
“The potential of the region is colossal. Our task is to be able to unlock this potential. We need to revive some of the traditions of agriculture, encourage and honor rural workers,” the press office of the regional government quoted Vyacheslav Orel.
