Penza, 22 August 2013. PenzaNews. Preparation expenses for the celebration of the 350th anniversary of Penza amounted to 2 billion 92,8 million rubles for the past six months of 2013. This was reported by the Acting Minister of Finance of the region Lyubov Finogeeva at a meeting of the regional government on Thursday, August 22.

She noted that this amount makes 65% of the annual plan which is 3 billion 220,1 million rubles.

“In July, 181,8 million rubles were used, which means that we are getting closer to 100 percent, but, nevertheless, certain steps still remain unfinished. The August cash flow includes the following expenditure lines — 200 million rubles for the Philharmonic and the concert hall, as well as 545 million rubles for the road infrastructure,” the Acting Minister of Finance of the Penza region reported.

Lyubov Finogeeva also explained that the expenditures for construction as a part of the project of celebration of the 350th anniversary of Penza in the first half of 2013 were funded as priority, along with the payments to the employees of the public sector, social benefits, utilities and covering of debt obligations of the previous year.
