Over 1,2 million tons of grain threshed in Penza region

Penza, 2 September 2013. PenzaNews. 1,220 thousand tons of grain were threshed in the Penza region. This was announced by the Minister of Agriculture of the region Ivan Firyulin on Monday, September 2.

“To date, the fields still contains around 95 million tons of grain not counting 30 thousand tons of maize, which matures later,” he said during an operational meeting.

According to the minister, the harvesting campaign is at its final stage in the region.
