Over 220 million rubles saved in Penza region thanks to tenders

Penza, 6 September 2013. PenzaNews. Over 220 million rubles from the budget of the region were saved during five months of 2013 with the help of tenders held in the region. This was announced by the Minister of Public Relations and Mass Communications of the region Alexei Ilika.
“The data for the rest of the period are processed,” he explained.
According to the minister, significant budget savings are an obvious advantage of the public procurement system.
“In 2012, the amount of orders made 6,769 million rubles in the Penza region. The tenders saved almost 900 million rubles. The amount is quite impressive,” Alexei Ilika noted.
At the same time, he noted that the system has a number of disadvantages.
“Long term, great amount of documentation, certain legal restrictions, etc.,” the Minister of Public Relations and Mass Communications of the Penza region wrote in his blog.
