Regional banks as opposed to federal ones can delve deeper into the needs of customers, offering on-site flexible terms of cooperation and a broader range of products. This opinion was expressed by the chairman of the board of Bank Kuznetsky at the conference “Finance and the press” held in Penza branch of JSC “Sberbank of Russia.”

“One of the main advantages of regional banks is their accessibility, trusting relationships with customers, the expansion of the branch network, an opportunity to offer a more flexible and liberal local-oriented product line, on-the-spot-decision-making, and independence from the financial resources of outside-participants,” Mikhail Dralin commented.

As a part of the report “Regional Bank — the center providing complex financial services to the population,” the chairman of the board of Bank Kuznetsky also talked about the results the financial institution reached, and drew attention to its versatility.

According to the press service of Bank Kuznetsky, the conference “Finance and the press” was held within the general federal project on improvement of financial literacy of the regional journalists.

“There were round table discussions where the media representatives had an opportunity to dispute about current issues with top officials of the banking business. The organizers of the event were the Bank of Russia in the Penza region and the State Corporation “Deposit Insurance Agency” supported by the regional government, the financial press club the Union of Journalists of Russia, Bank Kuznetsky, Sberbank and other institutions,” the press service told news agency “PenzaNews.”
