Penza, 5 November 2013. PenzaNews. The average salary at the industrial enterprises of the Penza region increased by 10% within 9 months of 2013. This was stated by the head of the department of industry and energy of the Penza region Konstantin Makarov during the meeting in the Penza region government on Tuesday, November 5.

“Salaries in the industrial sphere are above the average in the region. We are leaders in the Volga Federal District by the rate of growth,” he said.

Konstantin Makarov also added that after nine months of the current year, the Penza region took the third place in the Volga Federal District by the rate of industrial growth.

According to him, the Penza region is on the second place by the rate of growth of output per employee.

“This index in influenced by such factors as modernization of production and participation in federal target programs. In 2013 our enterprises made use of about 2 billion rubles,” the press service of the regional government quoted Konstantin Makarov.
