State debt of Penza region grows to almost 16,6 billion rubles

Penza, 3 December 2013. PenzaNews. The state debt of the Penza region grew to 16 billion 575 million 280 thousand rubles as of 1 December 2013. This information is published on the official website of the Ministry of Finance of the region.
According to the information of the Ministry, since the beginning of the year the amount of the state debt has increased by 3 billion rubles – as of 1 January 2013 it amounted to 13 billion 541 million 780 thousand rubles.
Since the beginning of the last year the state debt of the region has increased by 5,94 billion rubles – as of 1 January 2012 it amounted to 10 billion 634 million 259 thousand rubles.
As news agency PenzaNews reported earlier, in October 2013 the state program “Management of regional finances and state debt of the Penza region for 2014–2015” was approved.
The document aims to optimization of the amount and the structure of the state debt of the Penza region, as well as improvement of its management.
The end result is conservation of the economically sound amount of the state debt of the Penza region at a level no higher than 100% of the budget revenue exclusive of the amount of uncompensated receipts.
