Penza region budget for 2014 adopted in second reading

Penza, 20 December 2013. PenzaNews. Members of the Legislative Assembly of the Penza region adopted the budget for 2014 and 2015-2016 planning period in the second reading during the fourteenth session of the regional parliament on Friday, December 20.

Twenty eight people’s representatives voted for the budget, and one – against it.
The total amount of income planned in 2014 will be 39 billion 413 million rubles, expenses – 41 billion 164 million rubles. The deficit will reach 1 billion 750 million rubles that is 0,7% of the income of the Penza region.
The total amount of income planned for 2015 is 39 billion 522 million rubles, expenses – 42 billion 279 million rubles, deficit – 2 billion 756 million rubles that is 9,9% of the income.
The following numbers were adopted for 2016: the total income – 38 billion 160 million, expenses – 41 billion 745 million, deficit – 3 billion 584 million rubles that is 11,8%.
As the chairman of the Legislative Assembly Ivan Belozertsev remarked, in the coming period all social guarantees of paying salaries to teachers, doctors and other workers of the social sphere will be retained.
“It is clear that there should be some efforts to fill the budget. In this connection, I would ask you, dear colleagues, to join in, since many deputies have their own businesses. Taxes and salaries should be clear. I hope that we and our businesses will be more active. And I am calling to administrators of the budget funds to be honest and prevent inappropriate expenditure of money,” the speaker of the regional parliament said.
