College-school, the main focus of which is teaching information and biotechnologies, will start its work on the premises of the Penza boarding school for gifted children. This was reported by the governor of the Penza region Vasily Bochkarev during a press conference on Friday, December 27.

“We intend to implement the idea of the so-called IT-village in 2014. The deadline is 1 September 2014,” Vasily Bochkarev said.

According to the governor, software production is a profitable branch.

“We need minor innovative enterprises, therefore it is necessary to gather talented children from different areas of the region within this IT-village, perhaps, from other regions as well to train and support them using the budget funds,” the head of the region said.
