“This logistics center is planned to be built near village Konstantinovka on the road Penza-Tambov. It will provide food to a number of the regions of the Volga Federal District,” the governor said.

Vasily Bochkarev called food security and substitution of imported vegetables in the local agricultural products shops main task for agrarians in 2014.

“Through motivation we should encourage not only farmers, but businessmen from cities to work on the ground. The demand for foodstuff is always there,” the head of the region said.
