Penza, 14 January 2014. PenzaNews. The government debt of the Penza region rose up to 18 billion 624 million 85 thousand rubles as of 1 January 2014. This was reported on the official website of the Ministry of Finance of the region.

According to the Ministry, within a month the amount of the government debt increased by more than 2 billion rubles, and within the year – by over 5 billion rubles: it amounted to 13 billion 541 million 780 thousand rubles as of 1 January 2013.

As news agency PenzaNews reported earlier, the total amount of revenues of the Penza region forecasted for 2014 is 39,4 billion rubles, and expenditure – 41,2 billion rubles. The budget deficit forecasted in the region for the current year is 1,8 billion rubles.

Expenditures of the reserve fund of the Penza region government was established in the amount of 25 million rubles.

The upper limit of the government domestic debt of the region as of 1 January 2015 was set at the level of 19 billion 510 million 334 thousand rubles.
