Czech company Tekro Ltd. to invest up to 50 million euros in plant construction near Penza

Penza, 4 February 2014. PenzaNews. Czech company Tekro Ltd. specializing in the production of vitamin and mineral supplements for animals, plans to build a plant for manufacturing premixes in the Penza region.

As the head of the holding Tekro Ltd. Miloš Kroc informed, the planned capacity is 25 thousand tons per year.

“The Penza region has a favorable geographical position. It is a very convenient platform for our production,” he said during a working meeting with governor Vasily Bochkarev on Tuesday, February 4.

Miloš Kroc also clarified that the company is ready to invest around 40-50 million euros in the construction of the plant.

“We need 4 or 5 hectares of land and expect to open the production there, which will create about 80 jobs,” he explained.

In turn Vasily Bochkarev noted the importance of the project for the development of agro-industrial potential of the Penza region, and suggested implementing it on the territory of Kolyshleysky area.

“We are ready to get you started to design and develop your project,” the press service of the government of the Penza region quoted the governor.

Premix is a mixture of biologically active substances used to enrich fodder and fodder concentrates with biologically active substances for the better realization of genetic potential of livestock.
