Penza governor demanded to increase density of small and medium businesses

Penza, 17 February 2014. PenzaNews. The governor of the Penza region Vasily Bochkarev instructed the Cabinet to work out a project aimed at the development of entrepreneurship.
“High density of businesses is a resource for the development of the regional economy. The region should have a system of efficient operation of manufacturing and service sectors, which will reduce unemployment and migration rate,” he said during operational meeting in the regional government on Monday, February 17.
According to Vasily Bochkarev, to improve the competitiveness of the regional economy, it is necessary to increase the proportion of enterprises engaged in the production and processing of fruit and vegetables, meat and dairy products.
“Agriculture is one of the priorities of the strategic development of the Penza region. Regional and municipal authorities should work aggressively to modernize and strengthen agriculture. Today it is important to create efficient system of agricultural production, storage, processing, branding, logistics and export. The most important thing is to practice professional approach,” the press service of the government of the region quoted the governor.
