Penza, 19 February 2014. PenzaNews. Representatives of confectionery cluster of the Penza region noted the high performance at the international exhibition of food, beverages and raw production materials “Prodexpo-2014” held at the Central Exhibition Complex “Expocentre.”

According to General Director of JSC “Center of cluster development” Mikhail Lyashkov, for the convenience of participants from the Penza region they built a two-story exhibition stand with traditional red hues and with the logo of “Penza Confectioners Union” which became recognizable by now.

“Nine representatives of confectionery industry of the region presented their products — LLC “Bekovskiy regional food industrial complex “Oktyabrsky,” food industrial complex “Sdobushka,” LLC “Samoe vkusnoe,” LLC “Ot Anastasii,” company “Bosa Nova,” “Alfam,” “Alyonkiny sladosti,” “Penza chocolate company,” and “Bessonovsky bread factory.” A colorful stand attracted attention. During the exhibition, over 3 thousand people visited it including potential business partners. Many participants made new contracts for the supply of their products,” the agency interlocutor said.

According to Mikhail Lyashkov, the long history of existence of the main food forum confirms its relevance and social importance for the domestic market.

“This event is intended to promote domestic producers of agricultural products, as well as the implementation of national priority projects aimed at improving quality of life of Russian consumers,” he said.

The Minister of Agriculture of Russia Nikolai Fyodorov stressed during his visit to “Prodexpo” exhibition that it combines the best products, progressive ideas and technology, and always has diverse business program.

He expressed confidence that the constructive dialogue within the forum will not only lead to new promising ideas, but will actually bring them to life.

According to the director of “Samoe vkusnoe” [the most delicious] Svetlana Ganyukhina, “Prodexpo” met the expectations of the company.
