Representatives of the instrument-making cluster of the Penza region were marked by X National Industry Award “For strengthening the security of Russia” (ZUBR - 2013) as a part of XIX International Forum “Security and Safety Technologies” held in Moscow at the exhibition center “Crocus Expo.”

According to General Director of JSC “Center of cluster development” of the Penza region Mikhail Lyashkov, the branch award “For strengthening the security of Russia” gathered the heads of Russian companies, law enforcement agencies and authorities, while the major customers of such sectors such as transport, fuel and energy, the financial sector, heavy industry and communication operators were invited to the grand ceremony.

He noted that the best manufacturers received a bison-shaped statuette for achievements in the field of security and the highest professional reputation. The statuette personifies the outstanding contribution to the development of high technology and Russian security.

“This year, a large bison statuette was presented to company “UMIRS” for its innovative approach and economical solution in the field of geographically distributed sites under the guard. Also JSC “CESIS NIKIRET” [Center of special engineering structures of the research and design institute of radio-electronic equipment] was awarded silver medal for efficient functional solution of security problems,” the agency interlocutor noted.

He also clarified that as a part of the International Forum “Security and Safety Technologies,” four companies of Penza cluster presented their products on a single united booth: JSC “CESIS NIKIRET,” JSC “UMIRS,” LLC “ZHURIN ELECTRONICS,” and LLC “Peleng.”

“JSC “CESIS NIKIRET” design, produce, supply and maintain engineering and technical systems of perimeter protection of varying complexity and importance. “UMIRS” develop and manufacture security equipment and perimeter security systems based on innovative technologies. The main activity of LLC “ZHURIN ELECTRONICS” is scientific research in the fields of passive infrared optoelectronics and jam-resistant digital signal processing, as well as the development of security and safety systems. LLC “Peleng” is a leading regional manufacturer of navigation equipment and GLONASS operator in transport monitoring,” Mikhail Lyashkov concluded.
