Penza, 14 March 2014. PenzaNews. Construction of camelina oil production plant begins in agro-industrial park “Serdobsky” in the Penza region.

“Today LLC “Bioinnovatsii” acquired buildings and land within the park area in order to build a complex for production of camelina oil, refining of oil into diesel and glycerin,” the head of infrastructure projects of CJSC management company “Sberinvest” Mikhail Petrov told during a meeting held at the Ministry of Investment Development and Business in the region.

He added that in the nearest future, they will receive and and install technological equipment.

During the meeting, they also decided to elaborate the option to create a similar complex in the east of the Penza region — in Kuznetsk.

The head of the city administration Sergei Zlatogorsky was invited to consider jointly with “Bioinnovatsii” the possibility of organizing research center at the medical college.

The purpose of the center is to study the possibility of deep processing of glycerol into the market products, the press service of the government of the Penza region informed.
