According to the first deputy chairman of the Penza region Vladimir Volkov, the draft strategy identifies investment priorities in the region, as well as describes the goals, objectives, timelines and activities that provide growth of capital inflows.
“For any person living outside the region, the document is a tool to assess the views of the region on work with investors and enables to see the economic picture of both the present and the future,” he added.
Vladimir Volkov noted that the strategy also plays an important role for people in the region, since it allows evaluating the opportunities and understand the areas for focusing the resources.
“The document is a draft and will enter into force after it is approved by the Legislative Assembly of the Penza region,” the first deputy chairman of the regional government noted.
Vladimir Volkov informed that strategic planning sessions will be held at least once a year.
Investment strategy is one of the requirements of the regional investment standard developed by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives and approved by the presidential decree based on the evaluation of the heads of the regions of the Russian Federation.
