Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia extended consideration of petition by LLC “Transmashholding”

Penza, 12 May 2014. PenzaNews. Federal Antimonopoly Service has extended for two more months consideration of the application by LLC “Transmashholding” to acquire 50 % of the voting shares of the Dutch company “Wärtsilä TMH Diesel Engine B,” which will give total 100%, and the acquisition of rights to determine the conditions for entrepreneurship of Penza organization “Wärtsilä TMH Diesel Building company.”
This decision was made due to the need to further review the application and obtaining new information.
LLC “Transmashholding” was created on April 15, 2002.
It is the largest company in the field of transport engineering in Russia, the world leader in railway engineering in the physical volume of production.
Products of the holding are operated in dozens of countries around the world, in all climatic zones.
The only nominal shareholder is The Breakers Investments BV (the Netherlands).
Among the owners are JSC “Russian Railways,” the Internet service “Kontagent” reported.
