Penza, 23 May 2014. PenzaNews. Several hundred people, including representatives of government, business, credit and financial institutions, NGOs and the media became participants of the regional business forum, which was held in the regional library named after M. Lermontov in Penza on Friday, May 23.

Welcoming the participants, the governor of the Penza region Vasily Bochkarev congratulated the businessmen on the approaching Day of Russian business and wished them new opportunities to grow their business.

Then the head of the region identified a number of problems, the solution of which requires joint operations of the government and business.

“We need to move away from the shadow wages. We must learn how to do business, so that the employee did not receive the money in an envelope. Then he can perfect himself and be proud of the company and its management and look for the ways to stay there,” Vasily Bochkarev said.

He also noted that it is important to reconsider the approach to training since there is a great difficulty today finding qualified personnel.

The governor told his experience in industrial parks of Turkey, which he had an opportunity to visit during his business trip. He noted that business considered it important to create educational establishments directly at industrial parks, where personnel is educated. The same could be done in Russia, including lecturing at universities and colleges.

The governor also spoke about the importance of substitution of imported products.

During the official part of the forum, the businessmen who made a significant contribution to the economic development of the region were awarded.

Moreover, in the framework of three discussion groups, Penza business representatives had an opportunity to share their experiences and learn about the support available in the region.

Commenting on the results of the forum, the chairman of Bank Kuznetsky Mikhail Dralin suggested that such events play a crucial role in facilitating dialogue between the government and the business.

“The government must understand that it is necessary to the business, so that it could develop normally, replenish the treasury and improve people's lives. Our bank is constantly taking part in such forums, and we believe that such activities should be held as often as possible,” he said in an interview with news agency “PenzaNews.”
